MBA 9th Grade Debaters Burn Through Competition at Spring Opener

This weekend at Vestavia Hills High School in Birmingham, freshmen Tarun Mallipeddi and Rahul Ramanna earned 1st place among a tough field of debaters from all over the Southeast. They bested a strong team from The Westminster School in Atlanta late Saturday night to earn the victory. Ramanna also won 1st place speaker among all debaters, with Mallipeddi earning 5th, a dominating performance for one of several 9th grade teams on MBA's squad this year. Congratulations to the whole team on a great weekend.
