The varsity eight boat comprised of seniors: Stroud McMahan, Henry Ingram, Taylor Adams, Harrison Davis, Sam Gregory; juniors: Heyward Rogers, Seth Cook, Gage Anderson and sophomore coxswain: Davis Voecks compete at the Stotesbury Cup Regatta in Philadephia, PA on Friday May 16th.

The Stotesbury Cup is the largest high school regatta in the world.  This year the regatta hosted 950 entries from 187 high school crew programs.  The regatta has been running continuously since 1927.

The varsity eight competed in the Senior Eight Race.  The boats must progress from time trials to semi-finals to grand finals.  The MBA varsity eight placed 29th out of 37 boats during the time trial on Friday.  It was a solid race for the boat and a good starting point for the young program as such a large regatta.

The team is looking forward to returning next year.  This marks the end of the the 2014 Spring Season for the Big Red Crew Team...Row Red Row!!!
