Cole Euverard Named Mr. Football Finalist
MBA senior quarterback Cole Euverard was named one of three finalists for the TSSAA Division II-AAA Mr. Football award for the top back in the state. This season, Euverard has completed over 61% of his passes for 1,500 yards. He has also tossed 16 touchdowns to only 3 interceptions. In addition, Euverard has rushed for 546 yards and 10 touchdowns.
MBA finished the regular season with an 8-2 record and the number two seed out of the East-Middle division. Euverard is joined by McCallie running back Alex Trotter and MUS running back Colton Neel for the award. Trotter and Euverard face off again on Friday, November 14 in the quarterfinals of the playoffs at MBA at 7:00 p.m. MBA defeated McCallie 58-41 in the regular season finale on October 31.
