MBA Soccer Advances to State Championship Game

For the second time in three seasons, the MBA soccer team will be competing in the state championship game. The Big Red avenged their lone regular season loss by beating an undefeated McCallie team 3-2 in overtime. Senior Andrew Conwell nailed the game-winner with just under three minutes left before penalty kicks. Will Emerson and Luke Bernatavitz scored the other two goals for the Big Red.

It will be a quick turnaround for the team as they face Christian Brothers tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Richard Siegel Soccer Complex in Murfreesboro.
